BIOS Upgrade HM170 APC910 TS17 BIOS Upgrade for HM170 chipset APC910 TS17 BIOS Upgrade for 5PC900.TS17-01, -02 CPU boards ---------------------------------------------------------------- ATTENTION! Possible upgrade problems and version dependency ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Do not reset or switch off the device during the BIOS upgrade process !!! 2. Actually it is not possible to select the EFI Shell in the Type based bootorder, it will be always the last possible bootdevice. In the Device based bootorder it is possible to select the EFI Shell, but per default it will be also the last possible bootdevice. The EFI Shell is designed for diagnostic or service cases, so the last bootdevice makes sense. A mixed operation between Type and Device based bootorder is illegal. 3. Depending on the BIOS changes it can be necessary, that a "Extended" update is required. "Extended" update includes e.g. update for Intel ME firmware, chipset RAID BIOS or configuration settings for the ETH1. If a "Extended" update is necessary, the system will check automatically and no user action is required. A reboot is done automatically during a "Extended" update is started the first time. After reboot and second start of the BIOS upgrade, the BIOS upgrade is starting and will take a little bit longer time to finish. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Version 01.25 / 11/15/2023 / MIK !MANDATORY UPDATE! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Contents LIESMICH.txt 01.25 NEW README.txt 01.25 NEW STARTUP.nsh 01.25 NEW UPGBIOS.nsh 01.25 NEW UPGBCFW.nsh 01.22 BRBIOSID.efi 01.00 XCPBSVC.efi 01.5.6 APCCR125.bin 01.25 NEW CGBCP972.bin 09.72 Change(s) BIOS: - Intel GOP updated to V9.0.1095.
